Episode 62: Kirstie Macmillan - Hosted by Bryar Stewart

Episode 62 of The Icehouse podcast, hosted by Bryar Stewart, is with Kirstie Macmillan, Co-Owner and Manager of Farm to Farm, a family company specialising in multiday tours, travel and events focusing on farming, food and wine. Kirstie was a part of Owner Manager Programme 45 and more recently coaching with Emmet Hobbs.

Kirstie and her family have got creative and refreshed Farm to Farm’s vision and operations since Covid 19, keeping positive, focusing on new opportunities and ways of doing business through New Zealand tours, while showing off the country’s beauty in the rural areas.

Kirstie highlights the resilience and grit it has taken to keep Farm to Farm operating during the last 18 months of uncertainty. She discusses the balance of working with family, staying positive and looking after each other – touching on the benefits of having someone that sits externally to bounce ideas off and discuss the highs and lows.

“Having someone outside of the business and family to talk things through with, was invaluable to me” - Kirstie Macmillan

Kirstie is excited about the future and the opportunities that will arise when the world opens back up!

If you are looking to plan an event, staff incentive experience or trip, touch base with Farm to Farm to support an alumni business who know New Zealand well, have great networks and years of experience.
